Jan 21, 2008 Animal Spirit - new UNSHINE single will be released today digitally! The roaring druid metal anthem precedes the second album, entitled 'The Enigma Of Immortals', which is fragrant with the scent of forests, antiquity and mysticism. The album will be released through Low Frequency Records in April 2008. We have also recently started co-operation with Mika Karhumaa, who is also manager of Eilera, Twilight Guardians and Celesty! May 23, 2007 According to some wild rumours spreading in internet, Susanna is about to join Nightwish - this is false news. Also, there is an illegal pirate version of new Nightwish song, Eva, available for downloading in internet. It has two of our songs, Rowena's Song and The Last Moment as b-side of the single - we have nothing to do with this and the two latter songs are not new songs of Nightwish.
Mar 8, 2007 We can finally confirm that the recordings of our 2nd (yet nameless) album start 9.4.2007 at D-studio (Klaukkala, Finland)! During April we'll open a blog (address will appear in here) where you can follow the recordings. Beware, a druid warning has been declared!

Mar 21, 2006 Unshine gives 2 special concerts during the spring! On the 29th of March, Unshine will play at the after-party of the premiere of Succubus -horror movie by (Finnish) Blood Ceremony Films. The concert is held at Nightlife - ROCK, in Helsinki. More info about the event in here. Later, on the 29th of April, Unshine is featured also at Walburgisnacht -gothic/metal -event in Kouvola. See also the gigs, updatings will follow.

May 3, 2005 Unshine’s debut album ’Earth Magick’ hits the record stores of Finland on Wednesday, 25th of May, released by Low Frequency Records. The album will be released also in Northern America by Crash Music, Inc. and it is expected to be available from on the 14th of June, 2005. ‘Earth Magick’ gets also a world-wide distribution by the leading digital music distributor of the world, Orchard The official record release party will be held on the same day, 25th of May, in Nightlife – ROCK –metal night-club in Kallio, in Helsinki. Mar 11, 2005 Finnish Radio City and Low Frequency Records will release a compilation CD entitled 'Iron Bar' on 24th of March. The CD will be released in whole Scandinavia. With Unshine other bands on the compilation include Nightwish, Machine Head, Children Of Bodom, Exodus, Cradle Of Filth etc.
Feb 13, 2005 Unshine's debut album 'Earth Magick' will include the following tracks:

Feb 11, 2003 On the 7th of March (friday) Unshine will play a gig at the ’15th ”City of Bilbao” pop-rock contest’ in Bilbao, Spain. Local jury has invited bands from three categories (alternative, metal, pop/rock). This is the 3rd time when bands from all European countries are allowed to take part. Last year, over 1100 bands send their music to the competition. Of these bands, 12 were selected to the semifinal of metal-category (where Unshine is now, too). The final (with 3 bands from metal-category) will be held in June. See the website www.bilbao.net/bilborock!
